International League of Legends powerhouse T1 has signed Braxton “swag” Pierce as the first member of its new Valorant roster.

In a tweet from both swag and the official Twitter account of T1, the organization announced that it has signed the famous Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player to its entry team in Valorant. The game is Riot Game’s first title in the first-person shooting space, and the initial reviews have been positive.

Ninjas in Pyjamas is entering Valorant , the new first-person shooter title from Riot Games. For its initial roster, the Stockholm-based organization has re-signed its World Champion players for Paladins, after the team disbanded in November.

Developed by Hi-Rez Studios, Paladins is a class-based shooter like Valorant , only the latter features elements seen in most tactical shooters such as realistic gun mechanics and a greater focus on squad-based strategies.

Ninjas in Pyjamas, which built its brand two decades ago in Counter-Strike (another tactical shooter game) is among the first esports organizations to sign a Valorant roster.

AZK to sign with T1 Esports’ VALORANT team

Keven “AZK” Larivière is signing with T1 Esports to join its VALORANT pro team, rejoining with former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teammate Braxton “Brax” Paulson.

“We’re thrilled to add AZK to T1’s VALORANT team, alongside Brax and Kurt,” Joe Marsh, CEO of T1.

Along with Brax, AZK joins Kurtis “Kurt” Gallo on T1’s VALORANT team.

Cloud9 sign TenZ as their first Valorant pro player

The North American Cloud9 announced that Tyson “TenZ” Ngo who formerly played for the organization’s CS:GO roster will now be their first Valorant pro player.



THE SENTINELS announce they are fielding a competitive Valorant team, led by 2019 Overwatch MVP Jay “Sinatraa” Won.

Also joining the roster is Jared “Zombs” Gitlin, member of the Sentinels Apex Legends team. Zombs is an incredibly skilled FPS player, with multiple top finishes at major Apex Legends tournaments.

Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan and Hunter “SicK” Mims will join the Sentinels as well. Both are former Counter Strike pros, with careers dating back to 2014, and multiple first place tournament finishes between them. Their experience as professional esports competitors will be invaluable in creating a winning team.
